Insurance

This office is staffed by independent providers.

Our providers do not accept insurance.

Payment is expected at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made.

Prior to considering  treatment, it is your responsibility to consider the financial and time commitment of care.  Should you decide to submit a claim to your insurance for reimbursement, you will need to determine if you have purchased “out-of-network” coverage as part of your insurance.   Up to date forms and policies can be found at your Insurer’s website or by contacting your insurance company directly.

Reimbursement is dependent on an individual’s insurance plan and can be highly variable.  This office makes no claims to knowledge of individual insurance policies.

It is encouraged to have a thorough understanding of one’s  own insurance policy and benefits.   Insurance companies, by design and intent, make healthcare more costly and less easily accessible.

This office strongly encourages patients to regularly communicate with the Department of Labor, Virginia State Department of Insurance, one’s congressional representatives, and one’s insurance company directly to discuss with each the value of one’s insurance purchase and whether one’s insurance product is meeting one’s needs.
